Our Story
Fields and Jackson was born from Dr. Chanel Fields' desire to honor her mother and celebrate her rich culture after she passed away from breast cancer. Inheriting a treasure trove of cookware, kitchenware, and recipes, Dr. Chanel felt a connection to her roots and the traditions that shaped her. However, during a visit to a popular kitchenware store, she realized the lack of diversity in the products offered and how they failed to represent the cultures she cherished. This realization sparked the idea for a brand that would blend cultural appreciation with cooking, offering a space for community and connection.
Inspired by her inheritance of china, stemware, silverware, and various cookware, Dr. Chanel began creating unique tablescapes that mixed traditional and modern elements. Her use of seasoned cast iron skillets and a diverse collection of cookware became a way to cook with the spirit of her loved ones. Fields and Jackson is a tribute to Dr. Chanel's Creole heritage and the strong women in her family, offering a collection that celebrates diversity and tradition.
